media player restored

Having finally fixed my Windows Media Player so it'll stream musicagain to my TV via the xbox 360 - having given me trouble since a reinstall brought on by a bad update - but it now seems to be happy to do videos as well (which it always refused to before, so I must have changed something on it) which means I can actually watch a bunch of Conrad Veidt movies on the big TV instead of the 10-inch netbook screen, huzzah!

not so restored

so now I can share music to the 360, but it stops halfway through tracks, then skips the next one and tells me it's in an unsupported format even though it played them earlier, and they're fucking WMA files...

What the actual fuck?
