Zvezda models
Oct. 27th, 2013 01:26 amWas just browsing for model kits on Amazon (in a ship or armour mood, haven't done either for years, what with all the planes and sci fi) and was seeing a lot of kits from a company called Zvezda - obviously Russian, and I remember back in the day kits from the East weren't very good, but the only one or two of them there that had reviews were pretty promising. Anybody know if they're really any good?
That modelling hobby
Aug. 24th, 2013 06:05 pmCommenting on a Facebook post reminded me that I've got a bit of a backlog of models I need to get on with building- spent most of this summer building and painting 1:1 scale stuff, i.e. the house, so I'd like to get back to some of the unfinished models! No doubt with pictures...

(This can happen when you build model kits, and are known to look for aftermarket decals for Luftwaffe planes, since Airfix don't include the necessary...)
