Belatedly watching the Jack Reacher movie. Nicely directed, they get the character's tone though obviously Tom Cruise is just not the big badass the character needs to be. But the pacing just crashed horribly with Rosamund Pike's summary of who the victims were, about 40 minutes in. You'd think Chris McQuarrie would know better than to fucking stall a movie's pacing by a wodge of overly mawkish fucking *exposition*!
