Watching Battle Los Angeles - the aliens are morons who should have bought We Will Destroy Your Planet, and clearly none of the Marines have seen a sci fi movie, or they’d never have restricted their orders to “kill anything not human”, or left the dog un-shot. Also the amateurish shaky-cam is annoying as fuck.

Still, if you cut bits of it into the middle of the Spielberg War Of The Worlds, filling in for the battle that movie doesn’t bother showing, it might improve both movies. And at least it’s nice to see somebody try to have the man-on-the-ground’s story in an alien invasion.

But it feels like a Halo cutscene, would work way better with Daleks as the invaders, and you just fucking *know* that in Britain, UNIT is trashing the whole invasion on behalf of the world…
