House general update

lonemagpieGot rid of stuff that was blocking up a third of the living room, between my chair and the unit against the back wall. Several bin-bags removed, and the floor under the table cleared out.
Among less salubrious things found under there (thanks, Bel) I found a boxed fob watch I didn't even know I had. Which is worrying, when you think about it in a Dr Who context. It has hunting dogs on the lid.
Meanwhile, I've also been neatening up the finishings in the bathroom (taking off the paints splashes from the tiles, that kind of thing) and have removed some kitchen shelving to mount it in the living room alcove, as it would make a lot more sense to shelve that than have bulky little bookcases. The shelving will take more stuff, but less space.
