House day 5 - floor tiles and panels

Have discovered that a couple of the chipboard structural panels - one in the kitchen and one in the bathroom, need replaced, but luckily Wickes sells them nice and cheap. Also, found some good sources on vinyl flooring - must find a good pattern!
ETA- Oh, I'm liking the look of the these for kitchen and bathroom...

May actually go with a wood look for the living room and landing...
Also, I'm looking at the kitchen cupboard units and loathing them. I mean, apart from the state of them, I always fucking hated the colour and texture, but this is a rented house, so I can't replace them - and I couldn't afford a new fitted kitchen anyway. So...
I'm wondering whether it's possible to resurface the doors and stuff, keeping the structure, but changing the colours and textures. Sticky-backed plastic, that kind of thing... (and new handles)
