weird walk home

lonemagpieWeird walk home tonight- first I was having a sort of... not flashback, but... some sort of uncomfortable thing, to the hit and run. Same kind of weather I suppose, but it wasn't even the same road, and the weather is not unusual...
Then on the road towards our estate we found a dead cat, just hit by a car. Unfortunately Lesley saw it too, but all I could do is move it from the road onto the grass at the foot of a hedge so it wouldn't get more mangled, and hopefully the owner (it had no collar) will at least know what happened.
