Is anybody else heartily fucking sick of the excessive Mandela coverage? I mean, yes, I know he's an important historical figure who did much to improve South Africa, but do we really need half a dozen prime-time documenteries shown multiple times on umpteen channels every fucking day for a fortnight? Or five and half hours of live coverage of his funeral?
Don't get me wrong - if this was South Africa, it'd be warranted, but I'm not in South Africa, so how much coverage of a foreign dignitary, however important, does there have to be before it's recognised as fucking overkill?
