Death In Paradise

Watched Death in Paradise - it was still pretty decent. Kris Marshall still has stupid hair, but didn't make me want to throw something at the TV. His voice sounded different too. If they can keep that going, perhaps I'll make it through the whole season - certainly I'll stick with it for now. Though it's very obvious that the new guy's wife dumping him is so that they can continue using the will-they won't-they scripts already written for Richard before Ben Miller bailed...

The Musketeers

The Musketeers was great. I didn't know how it'd be based on the ads and Radio Times articles - looked like a couple of male models and a couple of guys who looked like the belonged more in a sitcom, so I didn't expect much acting - but it turned out great. Nice grimy historical fun, good performances all round (Capaldi and Hugo Speer stealing it), great fights, good music score... I'd put it on a par with Ripper Street for Sunday night viewing, so let's hope it doesn't suffer the same fate.
