House- I smell more paint

lonemagpieMore painting done - the upstairs part of the hall, and landing, walls in white emulsion - well, actually a sort of emulsion that starts pink and goes white as it dries. It'll need a second coat, then I have to figure out how to do the really high bit in the middle of the staircase...
Incidentally, we got the monthly local "Excelle" free ad mag posh thing today (whether we like it or not) and were amused to see that this summer's hot trend is "remodelling the kitchen by changing the work surfaces and dupboard/drawer doors and fascias..." Er, which I'd just done a couple of weeks ago. Damn- involuntarily middle-class-fashionable, purely by accident! Obviously the toffs are following my posts and being inspired...
