lonemagpieTwo of you nearly knocked me down while I came back from shopping today - zipping past close enough to brush my sleeve. If either of you had succeeded, I'd sure as fuck have taken out last night's violent frustrations on you.
Do they not make bells any more? At the risk of sounding like an old cunt, in my day they had these things called bells that were attached to handlebars and could be rung to alert people ahead with their backs to you that you were coming, and that they were in your way.
I seem to have missed the change in the law that now requires pedestrians to have eyes in the backs of their fucking heads. No wonder every fucking driver hates you cunts and loves to knock you down.
I don't actually mind an evening of dodging vehicles and explosions in videogame form, but twelve hours of it while just coming and going to and from the shops is getting irritating - if it keeps up I'm going to start fancying pre-emptive action.
At least I've replaced the phone, for £3 out of a charity shop (only needed the cable, but that was £2 so what the hell) - pulse dial rather than tone, but it'll do for now.
