Day 09 - Best scene ever
Well, there’s no such animal. Seriously - one best scene out of the whole history of cinema? No... I could pick a best action scene or a best coedy scene, or a best sex scene, or a best whatever scene...
I mean, what makes a scene great? the chemistry of the actors? Spectale? dialogue? There are too many types of scene to pick a single one.
That said, for me, this “everything you think you’ve been watching is wrong” game changer is probably the most striking and memorable, so I’ll offer it up as a best scene: the best scene I can give you today. The office scene at the end of The Usual Suspects, where Chazz Palmintieri’s detective character realises the truth...
