Gareth Thomes died today, according to Horizon. Well, shit.

Good actor, top bloke, it's a damn shame, and another "fuck 2016" cause. I've done several conventions with him, and he's the only actor to have given me the weird experience of suddenly realising that the character - Roj Blake - was talking at one point, rather than the actor, and *not* in a deliberate doing-the-character way... (it was only two words, "ah, revenge" but the delivery and expression were just.... Blake).
