For fuck's sake, is it open season on icons this month?I never met Lemmy or Bowie, but I did meet Alan Rickman some years ago (would anybody on here be surprised that I have a Die Hard video cover autographed by Hans himself?) and can certainly tell you that he was a very nice bloke. As with so many actors known for playing villains, he was totally unlike any of those characters we most associate with him on screen.
I picked up an extended version of Prince of Thieves a couple of months ago, which I haven’t watched yet - I suspect it’ll be tonight’s entertainment.
