Ah, so it was David Cameron who called Andy Murray the first Brit to win at Wimbledon in 77 years, overlooking the three women who’ve done so. That explains all the memes I saw last week, which somewhat confused me as the BBC news site had specified he was the first Brit to win the Men’s Singles for that long.
