House - evidence report

So, the bathroom is well in progress - have a look. Won't mean much to those of you who haven't seen it before (there will be pictures when I find the phone USB cable), but those who've visited us will note the total lack of that fucking marigold yellow paint on the walls! And that the porcelain is actually clean. And the shower door is up...

The taps, handles and window edging will be getting touched up next, then the skirting stripped and mahogany-stained, the carpet tiles replaced with the wood-effect vinyl, and the side of the bath unit replaced with a nice vinyl surface that has a blue water/bubbles appearance, to go with the shower door glass. Oh, I don't think you can see the chrome corner basket-thing for bottles in any of those pics. Next time.

(In case you're wondering, the book is Mark Gatiss's Black Butterfly, and the onion halves are for absorbing the paint smell)

Watched The Time Meddler - reasonably amusing, and that third cliffhanger must have been a real mindfuck in 1965.

Sadly we now hit a run of stories that no longer exist, and I don't have the Galaxy Four audio, so that'll be skipped...

What, at Xmas again? Let's hope they can get another good one- remember he doesn't have to be white, or under 30, or male. Though obviously the best female option has already played the part - I mean Joanna Lovely, er, Lumley. Though Alex Kingston would have worked too...
